ARM Support in Airfoil Speakers for Linux
Posted By Paul Kafasis on April 26th, 2012
If you’re using an ARM device running Linux, you’ll be excited to learn that we’ve just posted an update to Airfoil Speakers for Linux. Version 3.2.7 is now compatible with select ARM processors. The term ARM can be a bit deceptive, as many different chips and instruction sets all place themselves under the “ARM” umbrella. Nevertheless, this updated version should be widely compatible with most modern ARM systems.
Give it a try and see how it works. While Airfoil Speakers for Linux does remain officially unsupported, we’re continuing to make improvements to it. Stay tuned for updates.
