Posted By Paul Kafasis on February 27th, 2009
Another Friday is upon us, and with it, another Airfoil release. Today we’ve got an update to Airfoil for Windows, which is now at version 2.6.5. This update includes improvements to the Airfoil Speakers for Windows interface and backend. As well, we’ve fixed a slew of minor bugs, including issues with grabbing audio from Internet Explorer on Windows Vista.
This is a free update for all licensed owners of Airfoil for Windows, so all existing users should click to download from our site. If you haven’t used Airfoil on Windows or the Mac before, check it out now with a free trial.

February 28th, 2009 at 2:21 amAre there any plans for an iPod touch / iPhone app that would let you turn on and off airfoil speakers?
Paul Kafasis says:
February 28th, 2009 at 9:00 pmDan: I tried to install it, and the installation failed. So, I’ve not been able to test it out. Nonetheless, Airfoil Speakers Touch is still in development.
Nicholas Rowe: We don’t have any current plans for an Airfoil remote control of any sort, but we’ll see what happens.
