We just returned from Ontario, California, where the 2nd annual Podcast and Portable Media Expo just took place. This year appeared to be a bigger show than last year, with more attendees. Unfortunately for us, much of that growth seemed to come on the PC side, but we still had some good response.
Since exhibiting last year (fewer than eleven months ago), Audio Hijack Pro has been updated to version 2.7, making it a snap to record Skype and other internet chat applications. This feature has been a boon to podcasters, who use Audio Hijack Pro to record interviews from around the world by using Skype, and we received many thanks at the show, along with a Best Of Show award. Not too shabby.
As well, we were happy to be able to be able to show off Fission, our new audio editor released just two weeks ago. Many podcasters already make use of Audio Hijack Pro, but had not yet heard of Fission. It drew enthusiastic responses from many podcasters who want a simple way to fix up recordings. If you haven’t seen Fission yet, have a look.
