Although Joel on Software is always worth reading, this article about how to structure a software company is especially so. Many programmers-turned-entrepreneurs underestimate the amount “business” work even a simple internet-based company requires. And as Joel illustrates, the only solution is to have someone that isolates the programmers from that work.
