Nicecast Earns An Eddy Award
Posted By Paul Kafasis on December 17th, 2004
We don’t mean to toot our own horns, but we’ve recently been honored for the second time in the span of a month. This time the acclamation came right here in the good ol’ US of A, when Macworld magazine announced the winners of the Digital Music Products of the Year. Nicecast was chosen as one of just five products to receive an Eddy in this catagory, and one of only three non-Apple products, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Macworld touted Nicecast’s ability to broadcast non-iTunes audio to the AirPort Express and for users of that device it has been a great boon. But from day one, Nicecast was designed to be the best way for any Mac user to create an internet radio station. If you’d like to create your own net radio station, promote your own music or shows, or even create a talk show, then Nicecast is for you. Nicecast takes audio from any application or audio device and allows you to send it to listeners around the globe. You can even use it to stream your iTunes Music Library, creating a station playing only your favorite music. Tune in anywhere and never again be bothered with commercial interruptions or music you dislike.
Give this award-winning application a try today. Download Nicecast 1.7 or visit the Nicecast page for more information. If you’re interested in hearing the music your fellow Mac users are playing, be sure to check out our online streams directory at MacStreams.com.
